Malik Monk was born on 4th February 1998 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to Mr. Michael Scales and Mrs. Jacaynlene “Jackie” Monk. However, his parents divorced after finding incompatibilities when he was a child.

Following the divorce, Monk grew up under his single mother’s wings. Moreover, his mom attended East Poinsett Co. High School in Lepanto, Arkansas. She resides in the ninth-largest city, Bentonville.

Meanwhile, Malik’s dad is a graduate of Marked Tree High School based in Arkansas. He is a self-employed man who loves catching fish in the summer season. As of now, he is located at Trumann city in Poinsett County.

Monk’s older sibling, Marcus Monk, is a retired football wide receiver and basketball player. He played for the Chicago Bears and the New York Giants during his active years. Currently, he is running a sports consultancy, Monk Promotional Management Group, as a CEO.
