Biography:
Lucy Watson,30, is an English Journalist and correspondent for ITV News. She was born on February 20th, 1991 in Manchester, England. She began her work in televison when she was a runner for Stars in Their Eyes and then researcher for ITV programmes like You’ve been Framed! and 60 Minute Makeover.
Career:
Lucy Watson has had a diverse career to say the least. After working at television programmes, Lucy briefly joined BBC Radio Merseyside as a reporter and then Real Radio in Manchester as well. After 6 months of reporting as a radio broadcaster, she started working as a television reporter for ITV Granada in Manchester and in 2008, she was a reporter at ITV Central in Birmingham, presenting various news bulletins at weekends and late news programs.
In September 2010, she joined ITV Breakfast programme Daybreak as North of England correspondent. She became the newsreader on an interim basis on 2012, and then replaced Nick Dixon to become the New York correspondent for Daybreak.
Watson left Daybreak in 2014 and joined ITN. She was previously China correspondent for ITV News, where she reported on some of the biggest stories in the region including Hong Kong protests and life inside North Korea.
She currently is a general news correspondent in London for ITV.
Personal Life:
Watson’s family and their details have not been disclosed in the public and her personal life is private as well. We do know that she is married but the name of her husband has not been disclosed but she has two sons. The names and age of the children are not known.

Watson is only active on Twitter where she interacts with more than 8000 followers about news and other political happenings. She usually tweets about news on politics, sports, crimes, vaccinations and more. She is also fairly active on Muck Rack, which is a platform for journalists to post their articles and create networks. As she is a very private person, she does not have any personal social media accounts where she posts about her family or her relationships.
Football is one of her main interest and she has reported sports articles and conducted countless interviews with different teams and athletes. During the Euro 2020 tournament, she was one of the main reporters and broadcaster for ITV as she covered almost all games for Wales and England and held many broadcasts in Azerbaizan.
