Who Is Douglas Crawford? 

Douglas is 67 years old. He has turned out to be a member of the State Bar of Nevada since 1985.

His law license was once temporarily suspended in 2009, but it has been active recently.

According to Las Vegas Review-Journal archives, the bar recommended corrupt Crawford, and the Nevada Supreme Court suspended him for five years in 2009.

In 2011, he recommended guilty of stealing $304,831 from clients.

A suspended personal injury attorney was blamed in 2010 for stealing from several clients.

After claiming guilty, Crawford abandoned his position as a law clerk for then-Family Court Judge Jennifer Elliot.

According to Review-Journal archives, he said he had thieved from clients to support gambling, alcohol, and drug addictions.

He has been arrested after police acquired a warrant on five counts of open/gross lewdness.

Douglas Crawford Arrested On Lewdness Charges & Sentence

After arresting Douglas, The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department forwarded a press release on Thursday and told them that he was accused of five open, gross lewdness counts.

Detectives also have thought that there may be additional victims who have not come forward.

Anyone who turned out to be a victim of Crawford or has any information about his crimes is recommended to come forward.

Is Douglas Crawford Locked Up In Prison? 

 According to the court records, it seems that he is due in court on Tuesday and is being held on to without bail. 

Douglas Crawford was accused of various crimes previously. Crawford October was found guilty of two felony counts of theft for stealing $304,831 from clients between November 2005 and May 2007.

In 2009, Crawford gave shreds of evidence about his addiction to gambling before the Legislature before the bill was passed.

At the time, Crawford said that he had no idea he would be criminally charged, but the authorities charged him in December 2010.

After betting away more than $300,000 of his clients’ money and being found guilty of two counts of theft, suspended lawyer Doug Crawford was given another chance to keep away from prison and erase his record clean by a retiring District Court judge.

According to the court records, it seems that he is due in court on Tuesday and is being held on to without bail.
