Kevin Bieksa is an ice hockey player who grew up in Grimsby, Ontario, where he played minor hockey with the local Jr. Peach Kings of the OMHA’s Niagara District BB-E league.
From 1997 to 98, Bieksa joined the Burlington Cougars of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) for a three-year Junior A career. The Mississauga IceDogs selected Bieksa into the major junior Ontario Hockey League (OHL), but he chose to pursue NCCA hockey instead.
