Damon Arnette played college football at Ohio State University from 2015 to 2019. He entered college as a three-star recruit.

Damon Arnette attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School, where he played as a linebacker and wide receiver for the Raiders. The football cornerback was named honorable mention Class 8A-7A-6A All-County as a senior in high school. He also helped lead the school team to a state championship.

Damon Arnette graduated from college at Ohio State University in 2019. He was drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders in the first round with the 19th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft. As of now, he is a free agent.

Damon Arnette was brought up by his parents Montreana Surrell and Damon Arnette Sr in Fort Lauderdale, Florida since he was three years old. While in college, he scored his first career touchdown on September 14, 2019 against Indiana. He was named second team All-Big Ten at the end of the 2019 season.
