The assistant coach was the nephew of Billikens’ head coach Travis Ford. 

With his incredible coaching career, Ford Stuen was named in the list of National Association of Basketball Coaches “30 under 30”.

Ford Stuen Illness: Cause Of Death Revealed

Ford Stuen was suffering from an illness for the past few months. He complained about pain in the stomach area at the beginning. 

Later Ford was diagnosed with an infection in his stomach area. Despite various attempts and medication doctors could not control or heal his infection. 

He was treated with antibiotics and medical-induced coma as well. However, there were no signs of recovery and his health degraded gradually. 

Ford Stuen was hospitalized before Easter and passed away on May 11, 2021, due to his stomach infection.
