Kurt Angle was the WWE Champion and was a night from one of the main events when he heard the tragic news. His sister Le’Anne was claimed to be dead. The main cause of death was known to be an overdose of heroin.
He had a match with Brock Lesnar just a night after he heard the news. Kurt reported it was the most difficult fight of his career. It was a 60-Minute Iron Man Match where he competed for WWE Championship.
But his sister was not only who he had lost from his family; his father also died when he was just 16. His dad was a crane operator and was killed in a construction accident. Later in 2015, he lost his mother to cancer.

Throughout his wrestling career, he suffered from other many injuries. But among all, his neck injury was severe. He revealed he had broken his neck vertebrae on five occasions and his cervical vertebrae. It first happened in 1996 when he tried to participate in Olympics Trials.

Angle underwent an emergency operation in July 2015 to remove fluid from his spinal cord after all his extremities became numb. In addition, he had surgery to remove a benign tumor from his neck one week before this situation.

Texas Highway Patrol officials arrested the pro wrestler on August 2, 2013, and he was once more accused of driving under the influence in Decatur, Texas. But later that day, he announced he would immediately enter a rehabilitation center.
