Vermillion joined the team in 2020 and this was the second season for the veteran trainer.

Prior to his contract signing with the Washington, he served as a head athletic trainer/physical therapist at Caroline Panthers for 18 years.

Now after his absence, NBC Sports Washington’s Grant Paulsen, JP Finley, and Julie Carey have addressed the breaking news stating that Vermillion is under criminal investigation.

Ryan Vermillion is on a leave, however, the detail regarding his arrest is yet to be confirmed.

The federal law enforcement agents and local authorities were revealed to raid the team’s training facility last week. The nature of their investigation is kept secret as of now.

Following the raid, Washington released a statement saying they have placed Vermillion on administrative leave due to the ongoing criminal investigation. The team further cleared that the investigation was unrelated to the team.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the DEA agents were located in the house of Ryan on Friday afternoon. The agents were seen in the full gear at his property near One Loudoun.

She is also a physical therapist and an athletic trainer. Margie is an owner of Vermillion Physical Therapy Inc. and is serving as a therapist for over 8 years.

Further, she was also a franchise owner of Juice Plus for 13 years.

The therapist couple is believed to have met at the University of Miami as both of them graduated from the same University. She completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1988.

The University of Miami graduate on Bachelors of Education started his professional career as a Director of Physical Therapy at Doctors Hospital.

Further, he gained experience as a Physical therapist on his graduated university as well.

Adding to his resume, Vermillion served as a Director of Rehabilitation at Miami Dolphins and Washing Redskins before landing an opportunity to work as a head athletic trainer at Carolina Panthers.

The 57-years-old Vermillion is a recipient of the Fain-Cain Memorial Award for Outstanding NFL Trainer of the year in 2016.
