Precious Achiuwa was born to Nigerian parents Donatus (father) and Eunice Achiuwa in Port Harcourt. They are both Pentecostal ministers of Igbo descent.
Precious’s parents are credited with his remarkable profession, and he attributes it to their support and passion, which he attributes to his unrivaled skill.
Additionally, he grew up mostly playing soccer, a sport in which he was completely encouraged. In his professional life, he followed in the footsteps of his older brother.

Precious Achiuwa Early Life
On 25 November, Precious Achiuwa signed with the Heat as he was selected with the 20th pick in the 2020 NBA draft. He played for the Heat until 2021.
He then signed with the Toronto Raptors of the National Basketball Association on August 6, 2021. (NBA). In exchange for Kyle Lowry, he and Goran Dragic of the Heat reached a trade agreement. When they relocated to the United States, he began focusing on basketball in eighth grade.
Furthermore, in The Bronx, New York, he played basketball for Our Saviour Lutheran School. Then he proceeded to Newark, New Jersey’s St. Benedict’s Preparatory School. The basketball team was nationally ranked, and the school had a strong basketball program.
