Pom Klementieff is a Canadian-born French actress.

In the 2009 French film Loup, which was about a tribe of reindeer herders in the Siberian mountains, she played the lead for the first time.

Klementieff lived in a camp while filming there, miles away from the nearest hamlet and when nighttime lows were well below zero.

She made friends with the local nomads during filming, worked with genuine wolves, rode reindeer, and went for a swim with a horse in a lake.
