Vincent Jackson was an American football player.

Both of Vincent Jackson’s parents, his father Terence and mother Sherry are from a military background.

Mr. Terence Jackson has served in the Army for over two decades. This was also the place where Vincent’s father firstly met his mother, Sherry, more specifically it’s in a boot camp.

His parents were the ones who injected a sense of modesty in Vincent.  

Vincent Jackson Death Cause Revealed: Is It Suicide or Accident?

Vincent Jackson’s death cause is found to be stage 2 CTE, a degenerative brain disease as per USA Today.

This means he died neither because of an accident nor from suicide but from illness. Research showed that people with stage 2 CTE exhibit behavioral symptoms such as paranoia, depression, impulsiveness, etc. Or, it’s also probable that this disease forced him to take his own life.

As publicized by his family, the athlete has been diagnosed with chronic traumatic encephalopathy. Previously, Jackson’s sudden death was believed to be from chronic alcoholism and concussion effects, but it turned out to be false now.

The 38-year-old Jackson was found motionless in a hotel room and was announced dead on February 15, 2021.

The death of Vincent and his cause of death have shifted the public’s attention to many other football players who might have died with CTE. But, the terrible thing is only a little information is explored and little is done about this illness which has acted as a silent killer. 

Furthermore, this revelation has also given an ultimatum to prioritize the health of athletes and football players, who should be limiting the number of repetitive subconcussive hits.
