Schulman is also an amazing photographer and his photos have been featured in many popular magazines. Later, Nev founded a film and photo production company together with his brother and a friend of his. The trio came up with the aforementioned thriller film Catfish. It went on to receive widespread critical acclaim and resulted in an MTV series, “Catfish: The TV Show.”

From a young age, Schulman liked to dance. He continued taking dance classes for 5 years and performed for the company called “Instituto Nacional de Danza”. For his education, Nev joined Sarah Lawrence College. He had big dreams and was studying dance and photography. However, in April 2006, he was expelled from his university after assaulting a female student. He tried to persuade the university to take him back, but to no avail.
