Morgan Cole Wallen is an American country singer and songwriter. He competed in the sixth season of The Voice, originally as a member of Usher’s team, but later as a member of Adam Levine’s team.

Morgan Wallen was born to Tommy and Lesli Wallen on May 13, 1993, in Sneedville, Tennessee. Tommy served for a time as a local church pastor, while Lesli worked as a teacher. In his teens, the family relocated south to Knoxville, where he graduated from Gibbs High School.
When he was very young, his parents forced him to take piano and violin lessons. His musical adventure began when he was very young. He was also interested in sports, in addition to music.
He had great sporting ability and the makings of an athlete. He received a scholarship in high school as a result of his outstanding basketball play.
He changed his career to music after suffering a sports-related career-ending injury. Morgan and his Baptist preacher’s father had a lot of disagreements when Morgan was a teenager.
Morgan took after his father, telling Taste of Country that Tommy was a wild guy until he was 25 years old.
