Michael Robert “Mike” Fratello (born February 24, 1947) is an American sports announcer and professional basketball coach who specialises in the sport of basketball. Fratello is now the colour commentator for Brooklyn Nets broadcasts on the YES Network, as well as for nationally televised games on the TNT network. Prior to that, he coached the Atlanta Hawks, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Memphis Grizzlies of the NBA, as well as serving as the network’s main commentator. He is now the head coach of the Ukraine national basketball team. Fratello is one of the most successful head coaches in NBA history, ranking 18th and 19th in all-time regular season victories (667) and games coached (667) respectively (1,215).
