He coached five time Grand Slam winner Maria Sharapova until she lost in the second round at the 2013 Wimbledon Championships.

Madison Keys And Thomas Högstedt
Thomas had coached Madison Keys from May to December 2016.
Keys recorded an astounding second half that year. However, Keys had a conflict with Thomas after the season and they had to call off the coaching sessions.
Inspite of their rift, Keys still believes that Thomas had a tremendous impact in her career.
