The rumor spread due to an Instagram photo Minjee posted in February 2013. In the photo, they were seen together with Minjee wearing a red gown and Ranan wearing a formal suit. That photo is actually from the Corpus Ball that year.

The two studied together at Corpus Christi College and were with each other during the ball dance. After the graduation, the two remained friends but were not seen together again.

Ranan went on to study at the University of Western Australia and graduated with a degree in Exercise Physiology. He is currently an Accredited Exercise Physiologist at OccuMED Consulting.

Currently, Minjee is 26 years old and Min Woo Lee is 23. Minjee was born on May 27, 1996, whereas Min Woo was born on July 27, 1998, in Perth, Australia.
