August 14, 1981) is the birthday of Julius Andre Maurice Jones, a former American football running back who played in the National Football League. He was a member of the Dallas Cowboys, the Seattle Seahawks, and the New Orleans Saints, among other teams. He attended the University of Notre Dame and participated in collegiate football. Jones was initially selected by the Cowboys in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He has played with the Cowboys since then. He is the younger brother of running back Thomas Jones, and the two of them made history in 2006 by becoming the first siblings in NFL history to both carry for 1,000 yards in a single season.
