Texas state men’s golf coach, Joey Ashley, has a daughter Bracken, who will be 9 years old in 2022.

Joey had Bracken from his first marriage with his former wife, Delayna Spivey.

Joey is now married to retired softball player, Cat Osterman. They have been married for six years now. Cat, Joey and his daughter, Bracken, live together in San Antonio.

Joey and Cat began their relationship journey while in college but broke up after graduation because Cat had to start her softball career and she had to leave town. They eventually came back together and got married.

Joey Ashley Career

Joey works as an assistant coach for Texas State Athletics.

He bagged his first degree from Concordia University in Austin, Texas, and proceeded for a master’s degree in educational administration.

Joey has been a high school golf coach for over 10 years.

As an assistant for the Texas Men’s Golf Team, he led MacArthur to a second-place finish in the Region IV-5A Tournament, and ultimately the District 26-5A championship.

That same year, he won the award of the San Antonio Express-News Golf Coach of the Year.
