Fans speculate that Christina Chang might be leaving the Good Doctor in 2022 after her character Dr. Audrey was stabbed in the last scene.

Christina Chang is an actress, well famed for her role as a surgeon on The Good Doctor.

The 50-year-old Taiwanese-American actress has also shown her acting performance in 24, CSI: Miami, and Nashville.

Recently, the character portrayed by Chang ‘Audrey’ in The Good Doctor, who came to the hospital, finds a heavily bleeding Dalisay in one of the treating rooms.

And, by the time Audrey realizes and makes herself aware of the suspicious surroundings, the next thing we know is that Dalisay’s attacker also stabs Audrey, not once but twice.

Christina Chang is speculated to be leaving The Good Doctor in 2022 following the recent episode which left her character to be badly injured.

As mentioned in Newsweek, the ABC show’s showrunner Shore assured that the writers would not do anything that is not meaningful and wanted to make sure that each part of the story is meaningful.

Neither Chang nor Shore has clearly mentioned whether Chang would take an exit from the show. Nonetheless, one thing is for sure whatever is coming next draws excitement in the actress. The writer also stated that they are challenging her physically, and that does not mean that she is going to depart from the drama soon but the consequences ahead are filled with challenges.

Fans Assuming Christina Chang Exit After Character Dr Audrey Got Stabbed

Christina Chang is thought to head on to the exit door following her character getting badly stabbed and hurt with severe injuries.

Some of the online users even poured their discontentment on Twitter noting that since their favorite chief Audrey had been stabbed during Shaun and Lea’s wedding, they feel not so good. And, what’s making them more curious is whether Audrey is dead or would make it out alive. Some even compared the injury scene with ER season finale when Carter got stabbed.

What happens in The Good Doctor, is Dalisay’s ex-boyfriend Owen disguises himself as a flower delivery man to sneak into the building of the San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. There, he hurt and stabbed his ex-partner Dalisay while Shaun, Lea, and their co-workers are present at the wedding party. In the same way, he even mercilessly stabs Dr. Audrey (Christine Chang).
