Haven Madison brother Avery Roy is a talented singer and musician. Avery is the elder sibling among the two of them.

Madison rose to prominence when she appeared in season 21 of American Idol. In the audition round, she sang her original song “15” and amazed the judges with her voice and songwriting ability.

During Hollywood Week the young singer sang another original song “Still Need You” that she wrote about her brother who battled depression and suicidal thoughts. Madison mentioned that she wrote this song as her last hope of convincing her sibling to stick around.

With the melody of the piano and her soulful voice, she bought tears to the eyes of the audience. The love between the siblings has touched the hearts of many.

Avery Music Describes The Emotions He Felt During His Hardships

Haven Madison brother Avery Roy is widely known as Voidletter. Avery music comprises different genres but the only thing constant in his music is authenticity.

He also plays instruments such as drums and guitar; the singer also writes his own music.

In 2020, he released his single titled “Something on the Horizon” where he talks about feeling lonely and being lost in the shadows. As the song goes on he talks about the hurt that you feel when you lose yourself. 

He has poured his heart out in this song and the lyrics depict the emotions he felt battling depression.

In 2021, he released an album titled “Dawn” which is a venture into anxiety, bitter ends, manipulating, and hopeful beginnings. Avery began the writing process of this album in 2017 and started the recording in 2018 at a makeshift studio.

Voidletter dropped his second single “Synchronicity Freaks” which is a cover song for Devin Townsend Project song. In March 2023, the musician released an EP titled “Guilty” which he wrote during touring with a Christian band as a guitarist.

According to his Instagram, he will be releasing a full-length album titled “AIL” which is a continuation story from the song “Still Need You” written by his sister. 

The young man is in a relationship with a girl named Morgan since February 2022.

The Musical Siblings Duo Are Three Years Apart

Avery is 19 years old and Haven is 16 years old. Roy is the oldest child of the family.

Roy came into this world in the year 2003 and his birthday falls on August 7. He was 17 years old when he released his single “Something on the Horizon” and 14 years old when he wrote songs for his first album “Dawn.”

Madison was born in the year 2006 and she celebrates her birth anniversary on March 4. She was 14 years old when she released her first song “Already Gone.” She was 16 years old when she auditioned for the American Idol.

The siblings grew up in a musical family as their father is a singer and he used to take them on tours with him.

Their Folks Have Been Together For 20 Years

Haven Madison parents Jason Roy and Cortni Roy exchanged their wedding vows on August 4, 2001. The couple first met each other in the late 90s.

The married couple first crossed each other’s paths at Winter Park Baptist Church when Cortni served as the Summer Youth Intern at the church. The pair have been in love ever since.

Jason is recognized as the frontman and guitarist of the Christian rock band Building 429. He has been the lead vocalist of the band for 18 years and with Building 429 he has released nine albums and has been nominated for a Grammy Award.

Jason celebrates his birthday on August 9.

According to Cortni’s Instagram, she works at World Vision USA. She is also a member of the non-profit organization Project Yesu and has volunteered at the Queen City Race in May 2022 with other members of the organization.

Cortni’s birthday falls on September 20.

Haven Has A Big Family

Haven Madison family from his father’s side is originally from Mount Pleasant, Texas. Madison’s household comprises her grandparents and aunts along with her parents and sibling.

Her paternal grandfather Ray Roy currently serves as a shuttle driver yard dog at MAPF Logistics LLC. Prior, he served as a CDL truck driver at JBS Carriers for a year. Ray was previously married to Cathy Kadeg but the pair got divorced when their son Jason was four years old.

In August 1999, Ray got married to his now-wife Francie; they have been wedded for 23 years. The head of the Roy family is also known to be in a relationship with a woman named Linda Whittington in the past with whom he had a daughter named Rachel.

Madison has three aunts named Rachel, Loren, and LeAnn from her dad’s side. Rachel works as a real estate consultant at CENTURY 21 Butler Real Estate Services. LeAnn serves as an administrative assistant at Guaranty Bank & Trust.

The young singer’s mother’s side of the family is originally from Clarksville, Tennessee. Her maternal grandfather Dennis Weiland is an executive pastor at Awaken Church and he is married to Judy Norris for over five decades
