The Gabbie Show was the name of the Vine channel operated by funny girl Gabbie Hanna. After amassing around 5 million followers on Twitter’s six-second video platform, Gabbie replicated the feat on YouTube by creating a channel of the same name.

Gabbie has since renamed the channel to her own name Gabbie Hanna. However, his fans who have been with him since his Vine debut call him the Gabby Show. After Vine shut down in 2016, Gabbie focused entirely on her YouTube channels.

Gabbie was born Gabrielle Jeanette Hanna on February 7, 1991, in New Castle, Pennsylvania to a family of 7. Her younger sister Cecilia Hanna, born June 22, 2002, is an internet personality with her own niche being MUSICAL.LY where she is known literally as cecilia. Gabbie’s sister expanded her reach to Instagram in 2015.

After graduating from high school, Gabbie went to the University of Pittsburgh where she was a member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. She earned a degree in psychology and communication.

Post-college, Gabbie landed a job as a waitress and then moved to Los Angeles, California when she landed a job at BuzzFeed. While working for Buzzfeed, Gabbie opened a Vine channel that quickly rocketed her to stardom.

It was 2014. Gabbie immediately rebranded her image and took to YouTube where she immediately replicated her Vine success.

In addition to her storytime videos, Gabbie on her eponymous channel posts pranks, pranks, vlogs and challenges. As of January 2018, Gabbie’s channel has over 5.2 million subscribers and over 600 million views.

Gabbie also has another vlog on YouTube called The Gabbie Vlogs. As her name suggests, she only posts vlogs on the channel. The channel has garnered over 1.5 million subscribers and 152 million views.

In 2015, Gabbie began to embrace other forms of media. She won the fourth season of Dance Showdown in 2015 alongside her dance partner, Matt Steffanina.

Gabbie collaborated with fellow YouTuber stars including Jack Baran, Ricky Dillon, Chachi Gonzales and Andrew Lowe in Drop the Mic, a lip-sync tour. During the tour, Gabbie showed her charitable side by asking her followers nicknamed the Upsetters to donate canned food so she could give to those who needed it most.

Its popularity soon began to bring non-YouTube gigs its way. Subsequently, Gabbie expanded her repertoire to include singer-songwriter, comedian and author. His first performance was at an improv club in Los Angeles, California.

In July 2017, Gabbie signed with talent agency CAA representing her in all areas including: television, motion pictures, digital content and partnerships, touring, endorsements, personal appearances and publishing.

A month after signing the deal, Gabbie became part of MTV’s social media team which saw her play the role of one of the backstage hosts of the MTV Video Music Awards. She then took part in the reboot of Total Request Live as a social media correspondent and co-host.

Gabbie in September 2017 released her debut single “Out Loud” which climbed to #3 on the US iTunes charts. The song is inspired by her first book, Adultolescence, released on September 19, 2017, where she comically and poetically documented her struggles in life.

Impressed by the success of his debut single, the lyric video on You-Tube garnered nearly 2 million views within 24 hours of its release. Gabbie decided to make more music. Her second single “Satellite” was released on November 21, 2017.

Gabbie participated in the web series Laid in America and Escape the Night with Joey Graceffa.
