Dr Chan Herng Nieng Wife 2023: does he have any kids
The senior psychiatrist, Dr. Chan Herng Nieng, has chosen not to marry and has no children.
His life choices reflect a purposeful dedication to his job and personal autonomy, allowing him to focus his energy and expertise on psychiatry without the added responsibilities of marriage or family.
As per the information, Serene Tiong and Dr. Chan Herng Nieng had a complicated and secretive relationship for over a year and a half before their separation in 2018.
Their secret affair unfolded behind closed doors, bringing with it a combination of emotions, problems, and decisions.
The details of their journey are kept private, but the chapter of their engagement serves as a reminder of the intricacies that can occur within human relationships.
According to the Shin Min Daily News, Tiong alleged that Chan had prescribed her Xanax and Trazodone to address her anxiety during their relationship.
At the time, Chan was a senior consultant psychiatrist at Singapore General Hospital. He is presently a private practice psychiatrist.
Tiong claimed that Chan gave her the “highly addictive” tablets carelessly because he did not ensure she would not become addicted to them, according to ST.
Tiong claimed she became hooked on the antidepressant medicine Xanax and experienced side effects such as tiredness and anger.
Dr Chan Herng Nieng legal battle with his ex-lover
A lady who sued her former lover’s doctor for freely prescribing extremely addictive drugs to her lost the case despite the fact that the judge remarked that “no true winner has emerged from this entire debacle.”
Ms Serene Tiong failed to establish her allegation that she experienced harm as a result of Dr Chan Herng Nieng’s negligence, according to High Court judge Tan Siong Thye on Tuesday (July 19).
Ms Tiong’s claim that Dr. Chan gave her 280 tablets beginning in May 2017 was not substantiated by contemporary text conversations exchanged between them over a year, according to Justice Tan.
Dr. Chan’s version of events, on the other hand, was more consistent with the evidence: he provided Ms. Tiong 14 tablets for short-term use.
Ms. Tiong also failed to prove her claim that Dr. Chan caused her psychiatric injury by tricking her into believing he was dedicated to having a long-term and exclusive sexual relationship with her, according to the judge.
The negligence accusation stemmed from a conversation between Dr. Chan and his friend, physician Julian Ong, in which the two men boasted about their sexual conquests.
Dr. Chan did not argue that he owed Ms. Tiong a duty of care due to his medical skills, according to Justice Tan.
