Christopher M. Bassitt is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently plays for the New York Mets (MLB). In 2014, he made his MLB debut with the Chicago White Sox.

Bassitt made his big league debut on August 30, 2014, against the Detroit Tigers. Bassitt was transferred to the New York Mets on March 12, 2022, in exchange for J.T. Ginn and Adam Oller.

Bassitt pitched his first career complete game against the Los Angeles Angels on May 27, 2021. In a 5-0 victory, he allowed only two hits and struck out nine hitters.
