Pop princess Britney Spears got her start on The Mickey Mouse Club in 1992 and at the age of 15, she signed to Jive Records. Her first album, "... Baby One More Time," dropped in 1999 and was certified two-times platinum. She followed it up with "Oops! I Did It Again" in 2000, which is one of the highest-selling albums of all time. 

Britney has gone to release six more albums, selling over 100 million records worldwide, and is officially the best-selling female album artist of the 2000s. 

Along with music, Britney made her acting debut in 2002's Crossroads alongside Zoe Saldana and Taryn Manning. Her personal life has also made headlines over the years, especially following the birth of her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, in 2005 and 2006. In 2008, she was placed under a conservatorship controlled by her father Jamie Spears, which has since prompted the Free Britney movement. 

From 2013 to 2017, Britney headlined her own Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood but has since stopped performing to focus on the legal dispute over her conservatorship.
