The duo attracted the attention of a wider audience after appearing in the HGTV show about home renovations. Michel was the main host of the reality show and he was joined by three talented people to complete his creative team.

Anthony was among the three talented designers including Kai Williamson and Laura Green Born. Together, the four designers created beautiful home interiors for homeowners within the specified budget. 

The first episode of Luxe for Less titled Home Fit for a Princess aired on December 15, 2022. The show ended in January 2023 after completing six episodes.

Both designers had worked in different shows for HGTV prior to Luxe for Less. Michel starred in House Hunters in 2017. Similarly, Anthony participated in Project Runway All Stars in 2018.

Michel Has 17 Years Of Experience As An Interior Designer

Michel Smith Boyd is a talented renovator and interior designer. Boyd is the owner of luxury boutique firm SMITHBOYD Interiors.

The professional career of the 48-year-old took off in 2006 after he established a company named SMITHBOYD Interiors based in Atalanta. It is a boutique firm that specializes in luxury residential and commercial projects.

Michel also owns MSB Bespoke Rug Collection and MSB x1429Mfg which he operated in collaboration with an Annapolis-based company that offers kitchen cabinets and a boutique collection of luxury hospitality furniture.

The Louisiana-born graduated from Thibodaux High School in 1992 and thereafter studied Interior design at the Art Institute of Atalanta.

Soon after the pandemic was over, he was excited to try his new ideas in interior design. So, he contacted HGTV and was offered to star in Luxe for Less.

In the reality show, he was joined by Kai Williamson, Anthony Elle, and Laura Green Born. The show premiered on December 1, 2022, and most of the filming took place in Georgia.

At that point, Michel had his fair share of TV experience. He had already starred in HGTV’s House Hunters in 2017 and Bravo’s Buying It Blind in 2018.

Anthony Is A Professional Fashion Designer

Anthony Elle is a DIY expert with a background in couture design. Elle is the creative designer of his brand, Anthony Elle.

The couture was born in Birmingham, Atalanta. He is the delight of every DIY enthusiast looking for fashion design guides.

The 41-year-old had a fine eye for fashion. He was fascinated with fashion design from a very young age. At the age of eight, he started sketching and designing gowns for his friends. 

Elle obtained a B.Sc. degree in Fashion Design & Retail from the University of Alabama. He began his career as a freelance designer for ALW in 2006. After a couple of years, he was recruited as a creative designer at CP Fusao.

In 2018, he entered Season 6 of the HGTV reality show, Project Runway All Stars, as a competitor. This particular move proved to be the turning point in his career.

The designer was announced as the winner of Project Runway Season 6. His designs were featured on popular VH1 shows. Furthermore, he got the opportunity to design for high-profile celebrities including QUeen Latifah, Heidi Klum, Paula Patton, LaLa Anthony, and many more.

The TV personality appeared as a guest commentator on the HBO show, Craftopia, alongside host laura Rii Himaki. In Luxe for Less, he provided a helping hand for the designer, Michel Boyd. Anthony mostly worked with clients based in Atlanta metropolitan area and in a few Georgian cities.
