Antony Green is an Australian psephologist and commentator. He was born on March 2, 1960, in Warring, Lancashire, United Kingdom.
Green’s first appearance on the ABC’s election-night television coverage in the 1991 South Wales election, followed by the federal election in 1993.
As of 2022, he had analysed over 70 Australian territory state and federal elections of the ABC, starting with the 1989 Queensland State elections. He designed the computer system that he uses to display and predict election results based on an automated result feed from Australia’s electoral commission.
