Aml Ameen is a British actor and filmmaker.

He is well known for starring Trevor in Kidulthood and Lewis Hardy in the ITV television series The Bill.

Ameen studied acting at Barbara Speake Stage School, an independent school in London where he studied acting.

Following his first acting role in the ITV police series The Bill in 2002, Ameen appeared as a guest star in 2004 before joining the series full-time in 2006 as PC Lewis Hardy.

He has since starred in over 40 films and tv series.
